Dominus 2004
Ultra-Premium Red Wine from Napa Valley
Dominus 2004 is an ultra-premium red wine produced by Christian Moueix, a legendary winemaker from Bordeaux. This 21-year-old Bordeaux blend is at its ideal point of maturity, representing the perfect fusion of French tradition and Napa Valley's exceptional terroir.
Tasting Notes
Appearance: Deep garnet color with brick reflections, typical of a wine with advanced maturation.
Aroma: Evolved and extraordinarily complex bouquet. Aromas of ripe black fruits – stewed cassis, dried plums, and figs – intertwined with tertiary notes of tobacco, leather, cedar, and spices. Layers of chocolate, black truffles, coffee, mushrooms, and minerality add depth and sophistication.
Palate: Rich and harmonious flavor with perfectly integrated ripe fruits. Completely rounded and silky tannins, with layers of chocolate, spices, tobacco, and earthy notes. An extraordinarily long, elegant, and persistent finish that demonstrates the wine's full maturity.
Winemaker
Christian Moueix owns the legendary Château Pétrus in Bordeaux and brought his experience to create one of California's great wines.
Food Pairing
Sublime with roasted red meats, stewed lamb, noble game, truffle dishes, and intense aged cheeses.
