Dominus 2017 is an ultra-premium red wine produced by Christian Moueix, a legendary winemaker from Bordeaux. This Bordeaux blend represents the perfect fusion of French tradition and the exceptional terroir of Napa Valley.

Tasting Notes

Appearance: Deep, opaque purple color with violet reflections.

Aroma: An extraordinarily complex and seductive bouquet. Intense aromas of cassis, blackcurrant, and black cherries intertwined with notes of violets, graphite, and cedar. Layers of dark chocolate, espresso, tobacco, and exotic spices. Perfectly integrated French oak with vanilla and toast.

Palate: Concentrated and powerful flavor with ripe black fruits and minerality. Firm yet refined tannins, vibrant acidity, and a monumental structure. An extraordinarily long and complex finish with notes of spices and chocolate.

Winemaker

Christian Moueix is the owner of the legendary Château Pétrus in Bordeaux and brought his expertise to create one of California's great wines.
