A rare monopole from one of Burgundy's most exciting domaines, the Armand Heitz Pommard Premier Cru Clos des Poutures 2022 is an exceptional expression of Pommard's powerful yet refined character. Clos des Poutures is an exclusive single-vineyard site — a monopole — meaning Armand Heitz is the sole producer from this premier cru parcel. The 2022 vintage delivered outstanding ripeness balanced by natural freshness, producing wines of remarkable depth and structure. Tasting Notes Deep garnet with violet hues. The nose is complex and expressive: dark cherry, blackcurrant, crushed violet, and a signature Pommard earthiness with hints of iron and spice. The palate is full-bodied with firm, well-integrated tannins, layers of dark fruit, liquorice, and a long, mineral-driven finish. Food Pairing Beef bourguignon, venison, truffle dishes, aged hard cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C. Decant 1 hour before serving. Cellaring potential: 10–20 years.
