Bodegas Naia Naides Verdejo 2019 - Premium White Wine D.O. Rueda 0.75L

Every now and then we are asked for a Verdejo recommendation. It's not a complicated task, as we are well served. Bodegas Naia is a benchmark in D.O. Rueda, and the Náiades 2019 is still a young marvel.

The grapes come from pre-phylloxera vines, already over 120 years old and located in the sandy soils of La Seca. Fermentation takes place in barrels, with eight months of aging in new 500-liter French oak.

Aroma of ripe melon and pear. It has a delicious bitterness, very well balanced with the toasted notes from the wood. Long and persistent finish. In short, a very well-balanced Spanish wine that delights the taste buds.

Pair Náiades 2019 with roasted turkey or chicken, monkfish, sea bass, or a hearty cod dish.
