The Langhe Riesling Era Ora 2022 from the prestigious Borgogno house is an elegant and refined expression of the Riesling grape grown in the hills of Piedmont. This Italian white wine represents the perfect combination of tradition and modernity.

Winemaking

Fermentation takes place over 15 to 20 days in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures (17-18°C), preserving the fresh and delicate aromas. 20% of the production is fermented in 1000L oak barrels, where it ages for 6 months on the lees, giving complexity and structure to the wine. This is followed by 6 months of ageing in stainless steel tanks and 2 months in bottle before being released to the market.

Wine Characteristics

Appearance: Bright straw yellow with greenish reflections.

Aroma: Fresh and aromatic bouquet, with notes of citrus (lemon and lime), white peach, white flowers and characteristic mineral touches of the Riesling grape.

Palate: On the palate, it reveals itself to be fresh, elegant and balanced. The vibrant acidity is perfectly integrated, providing a long and persistent finish with citrus and mineral notes.

Food Pairing

Ideal with grilled fish, seafood, sushi, fresh salads, goat cheeses and Asian dishes. Excellent as an aperitif.
