Uva Cão is a rare indigenous Portuguese grape variety, almost exclusive to the Dão region. Known for its high acidity and mineral character, it produces fresh, vibrant white wines with excellent aging potential.

Tasting Notes

Bright straw yellow. Notes of apple, slight white pepper, and herbal notes, complexed by subtle toast. Linear and high acidity on the palate – acidity is the backbone of this wine. Good balance with a delicate body and moderate alcohol content. Extremely long finish, lingering beautifully.
