History of Foral de Évora
The tradition of wine in the Évora region dates back to time immemorial. The Charter (Foral) that D. Manuel I granted to the city in 1501 bears witness to this. Adega Cartuxa combines the taste of history with the unique art of this wine, in an edition commemorating the Charter.
About the Production
This wine is produced from Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet, and Aragonez grape varieties, aged in new French oak barrels. Very fruity, it presents great concentration and exuberance, characteristic of its youth. It was first produced in 2000.
