The Vigna Parafada vineyard is located in Serralunga d'Alba, one of Barolo's most prestigious areas, known for producing wines of great structure, power, and longevity. The calcareous and clay soils give the wines deep minerality and exceptional aging potential.

Massolino - Family Tradition

Massolino is a family winery founded in 1896, with over a century of tradition in producing excellent Barolo in Serralunga d'Alba. The estate owns some of the best vineyards in the region, including the Vigna Rionda, Parussi, Margheria, and Parafada crus.

Powerful Sensory Profile

It presents intense and complex aromas of ripe dark cherries, plums, roses, tar, oriental spices, earthy notes of mushrooms and truffles, and mineral touches. On the palate, it is robust and structured, with firm yet elegant tannins, excellent vibrant acidity, and a long and persistent finish. A Barolo of great character that expresses the strength of Serralunga.

2019 Vintage - Quality Year

The 2019 harvest in Piedmont was a vintage of excellent quality, characterized by balanced climatic conditions that allowed for optimal ripening of the Nebbiolo grapes, resulting in wines of great structure and elegance.
