The 2017 Vintage:

The year 2017 was quite hot, but in many respects substantially different from previous years such as 2003 or 2012. Autumn and the first part of winter were characterized by cold temperatures, affected by north winds and average rainfall. These conditions allowed for a balanced vegetative dormancy and maintained water reserves in the soil, resulting in a wine of great structure and elegance.

Sensory Profile:

Complex aromas of ripe black fruits, cassis, spices, cedar, graphite, and mineral notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied and structured, with refined tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long, persistent finish.
